Message from the Secretary – Commitment & Vision The Secretary’s message underscores IGIPS’s dedication to fostering academic excellence, institutional growth, and collaborative spirit, ensuring a supportive environment that nurtures students’ potential and drives the institute’s mission forward.

I congratulate and welcome all the pharmacy students of our college on their ingress into the glorious career in pharmacy. Indira Gandhi Institute Of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IGIPS) was established in 1987 with an aim not only to produce diploma and degree pharmacists but also to mould them as distinguished pharmacy professionals of the world to cater to the healthcare needs of the society with most contemporary healthcare services. And in over three decades of endless effort, IGIPS has set a benchmark in pharmacy education as an excellent mould of pharmaceutical talent.

Here, I would advise our students that it is not sufficient to be admitted into a good college, but you have to exploit its each and every good thing which we continuously cultivate to feed your brain on and expertise you with top class facilities of teaching, training,  learning, and brooding of professional personality. In IGIPS, we concentrate personally on students’ moral uprightness, scientific insight and social commitment and assert that in IGIPS, every student does shine in all the aspects of the academic career.

I would express my thankfulness to our teachers those who serve the purpose of education with hard labour, and the students who quickly get oriented to our unique system of education and our effort to make them scientifically and technically sophisticated. It is quite heartening to me that the students, after their admission, promptly show their solidarity and discipline with our futuristic campaign for a healthy nation.

I wish you all success and pray for your good health and personal well-being!

Dr. Basanta Manjari Nayak

Secretary
