Overview

The Examination Committee of IGIPS is the responsible for all aspects of internal and university/board examinations. The committee has the authority in exercising the power in decision-making, examination and evaluation process. The main objective of the examination committee is to oversee the smooth conduct of all examinations and its process. This Committee formulates the guidelines, rules and regulations of all examination affairs of the institute. The committee has been constituted by the institute comprising the following members:

Responsibilities Of The Cell

  • To prepare relevant time tables of sessional and final examinations and display the same on student notice board.
  • To prepare and display an overall Supervision Duty List.
  • To hold a pre-exam meeting to brief the members of faculty with regard to the examination procedures and the role and responsibilities of faculty members. A report of the same shall be submitted to the Principal.
  • To collect list of examiners for assessment and moderation of each subject from respective HODs.
  • To ensure that the evaluation process (for sessional examinations) is completed on time.
  • To prepare smooth conduct of Examinations, time-table schedules, Invigilation duty chart, Seat allotment in the Examination halls etc.
  • To ensure that the entire exam related documents reach the University/Board in time.
  • To conduct Internal Assessment examinations as per the Academic Calendar.
  • To distribute marks lists to the students after the results of various examinations received from the University.
  • To process all Circulars, Guidelines, Office Orders, Notifications received by the University/Board.
