Department of Pharmacy Practiceis a specialized facility where students receive hands-on training in various aspects of pharmacy practice, including dispensing, compounding, and counselling patients on their medications. The lab is a simulation of real-world pharmacy environments and provides students with the opportunity to develop essential skills before entering the profession. The department provides a setting to foster professionalism, teamwork, and ethical behavior within the pharmacy profession, where the students also learn to communicate effectively with patients, provide medication information, and address their concerns. 

Model Pharmacy

The institute has established a Model Pharmacy that helps the students to practice filling prescriptions, compounding medications and managing medication inventory and get access to drug reference materials, online databases, and other resources to enhance their knowledge and decision-making skills. The lab replicates elements of both retail and hospital pharmacies, including dispensing counters, medication storage areas, and patient counselling stations.
