    Vision

    To be recognized as the premier institute of Pharmaceutical education in Odisha by providing value based pharmacy education to the students with well-learned, well-skilled, highly committed, and pioneering health professionals.

    Mission

    • To produce competent and responsible pharmacists with ethical values to cater to the needs in our healthcare system in areas such as pharmaceutical industry, community pharmacy and hospital practices.
    • To provide state of art infrastructure and facilities to promote quality research.
    • To build institute-industry and institute-institute partnership programmes for providing students real world exposure in pharmaceutical sciences.

    The institute has valued its vision and mission through following Programme Outcomes (POs)

    PO 1: Knowledge

    Apply fundamental and advance pharmaceutical science knowledge in drug discovery and development, manufacturing, regulatory affairs and pharmacy practice.

    PO 2: Practical Skills

    Perform appropriate scientific skills in drug discovery and development as well as formulation and analysis of pharmaceutical and related products.

    PO 3: Social skills and responsibilities

    Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of social issues and appropriate strategies towards applying professional service.

    PO 4: Ethics, professionalism and humanities

    Demonstrate understanding of the societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to pharmaceutical and related activities.

    PO 5: Communication, leadership and team skills

    Communicate and function effectively as an individual and as a member or leader in all areas of pharmaceutical science and professional service.
